WHO CAN APPLY?

Entrepreneurs of any kind, including:

Handmade & product based businesses
Service based businesses
Musicians & photographers
Artists & creatives
Authors & motivational speakers
Network marketing entrepreneurs

WHAT COULD YOU USE THE $2000 GRANT FOR?

Anything you need in your business to move the needle forward. For example:

Business start-up costs
Hiring an employee
Investing in tech & equipment
Buying supplies or materials
Book studio space to record music or podcast

Anything else EXCEPT courses, programs or coaching.

WHY CAN'T YOU USE THE FUNDS FOR LEARNING?

There is a place for learning and taking courses, but we've noticed most of our past applicants already have the knowledge, skills and know-how.

What they really need is to start DOING IT.

We want to encourage getting into ACTION and actually DOING THE DANG THING.

*For that reason, any applicants that declare they'll be using the funds for education, courses or programs will be disqualified.*

HOW DOES IT WORK?

1. Click the link below to apply.

2. Purchase the $39 application. (Why do we charge an application fee? Scroll down to the FAQ to find out).

3. The application link will be sent to you via email - you MUST opt in to receive this email!

4. Fill out the application. This can take anywhere between 60 to 120 minutes, depending on your writing style.

It's a good idea to complete your answers elsewhere, before inputing them into the form.

PRO TIP: Don't forget to EDIT & pay attention to the max word count.

5. Submit when you're ready.

6. The winner will be notified by February 24, 2025.

Past Grant Winners

So far, we’ve had the privilege of giving away $11,500 to support entrepreneurs of all kinds.

Holly Schefold

Nourish Cooking Co.

Holly won our first Canadian Kick Off Grant in 2023. With the $2000 she won, Holly was able to move her kid's cooking membership community to a new platform better suited for growth. She was also able to film new content for her members.

Gillian Berard

Infinity Academy

Gillian won one of the Mastery Grants in 2023 (sponsored by Sarah Swain). Gillian was then able to purchase a ticket to attend a popular business conference, MYM, with the money she won from the grant. She's since founded Infinity Academy, an inquiry-based & nature-rooted educational program for children in rural Ontario.

Dom Daviau

Handy Mum Dom

Dom won one of the $2500 Mastery Grants (Sponsored by Sarah Swain) in 2023. With her grant winnings, Dom was able to invest in better back-end technical systems, so that her business could operate better - freeing her up to take on more clients and empower more women to better care for their homes.

Colton

Colt Creations

Colton won the $500 Kids Grant (Sponsored by Sweet Three Designs) in 2023, and he was able to buy the proper display supplies so he could sell his handmade items at markets, and increase his sales. With the increased sales, he was able to purchase his own 3D printer, allowing him to make his own molds, and in 2024, he launched a website. He now ships his items all over North America.

Christine & Noah Johnston

SuperSprouts

Noah is a 14 year old budding entrepreneur who began growing his own microgreens to share with his family and community. He won the $2000 grant in July 2024, and was able to buy the supplies needed to scale his growing operation. He also invested in the proper packaging supplies to be able to sell locally.

Meg Garland, Annabelle Lockie & Lindsay McArthur

Trailblazer Academy

In 2023, these three mom's founded Trailblazer Academy from a desire to provide their children with a better education. In 2024, they won the $2000 Entrepreneur Grant and were able to use those funds to move to a better location, allowing them to make their services accessible to more families.

HOW WILL THE WINNER BE SELECTED?

Ourselves and our judges will be selecting the recipient based on the follow criteria:

1. Thoughtfulness & meeting overall criteria.

2. Clarity of your vision in your business.

3. Your business' ripple effect & impact on your community.

4. Uniqueness of business.

5. The quality of your product of service.

6. Authenticity in your application. Can we hear your authentic voice?

Our judges have a diverse range of experience and business beliefs. They will be looking for projects, businesses, content, and media born from the heart, with a true desire to serve and help others.

DISSATISFACTION SECTION: Sometimes we avoid the inner knowing that we are not totally happy with our lives. This is dissatisfaction.

When we listen to that feeling, it can fuel great change in our lives.

The three most common areas people feel dissatisfied are with their health, romantic relationships and money.

The way to make true change in our lives is by acknowledging the feelings of dissatisfaction and taking responsibility for what we can control.

We contribute 10% of all our revenue to the Grant Fund because we believe in the power of entrepreneurship to help people live their fullest, most authentic lives. Our goal is to encourage others to express who they truly are and serve the world in their own unique way.
